At MediMobile, our team is the heartbeat of everything we do. In this first edition of Meet the Team, we sat down with Emily, our Marketing Specialist, to talk about what drives her work, what makes MediMobile stand out, and what her day-to-day looks like behind the scenes.
Q: When did you start working at MediMobile, and what drew you to the company?
Emily: I joined MediMobile in May 2023. What really stood out to me was the mission—helping healthcare providers do their jobs more efficiently with smart, intuitive technology. I loved that it wasn’t just about software, but about making a real impact on people’s daily lives in healthcare. Plus, I could see there was a lot of room for creativity and growth in the marketing department. I have the freedom and trust to bring all of my ideas to life here and work with a dedicated and outstanding team that’s united in our vision of helping clinicians.
Q: How would you describe MediMobile to someone who’s never heard of it?
Emily: I’d say MediMobile is a healthcare technology company that helps clinicians and organizations automate their medical coding and streamline charge capture. But it’s more than that, it’s like having a smart assistant working behind the scenes to eliminate manual work, reduce billing errors and unlock hidden revenue. Our flagship solution, Genesis, makes it possible to capture, code, and charge in just one click. Launching Genesis has been the highlight of my time here so far.
Q: What do you see as the most valuable asset MediMobile provides to its clients?
Emily: Honestly, it’s peace of mind. We help eliminate revenue leakage and reduce the time clinicians and coders spend chasing down charges or fixing errors. Whether it’s a physician who no longer has to second-guess their documentation or a CFO who sees faster reimbursement, the value is in that confidence and clarity we can provide.
Q: What does your typical day at MediMobile look like?
Emily: Every day is different, which I love! I might be writing a blog post, designing graphics for a trade show, editing a podcast episode, or brainstorming our next ad campaign. A big part of my job is making sure our brand is engaging and easy to understand, even when we’re talking about complex healthcare topics. I also work closely with our sales and development teams, so there’s a lot of collaboration across departments. We have daily meetings with our team members and I’m given a lot of room to create and get things done.
Q: What’s the coolest feature of MediMobile’s software, in your opinion?
Emily: I think the one-click automation in Genesis is a game-changer. It reads documentation and auto-generates CPT and ICD-10 codes, instantly populating charges. It’s fast, accurate and it adapts to each provider’s style over time. We’ve had providers see it at trade shows and tell us it feels like magic; that’s pretty cool!
Q: Anything you’re especially proud of from your time here so far?
Emily: Either the launch of Genesis or the podcast series we launched—The MediMobile Podcast. It’s been such a fun way to connect with our partners and team members, share insights and spotlight how AI is changing healthcare. And of course, seeing our marketing at events like SHM Converge and ACP and watching people get excited about what we’re doing—those are proud moments.
